U.n.i FARMASI

Background
  • Professionals Entrepreneurs Development Program (ProSPEC) is one of MARA initiatives in promoting pharmacy business in 2019 through the rebranding of U.n.i KLINIK (2018) to U.n.i FARMASI (You & I).
  • This is an effort by MARA to create a Bumiputera pharmacy chain under one brand and one concept at reasonable service charge.
Objectives
  • To encourage Institut Pendidikan MARA (IPMa). Institut Pendidikan Tinggi Awam (IPTA), Institut Pendidikan Tinggi Swasta (IPTS) especially the MARA sponsored graduates to venture into professional related business.
  • To increase participations from Bumiputera with professional backgrounds in medicine, pharmacy, engineering, law, accountancy, architecture and material surveyor to become entrepreneurs.
  • To create more entrepreneurs among the professionals to hold business ventures and equity ownerships.
Target Groups
  • Existing entrepreneurs in pharmacy and pharmacy graduates from IPMa, IPTA and IPTS and also MARA local and abroad sponsored graduates with minimum of three (3) experience.
Outcome
  • To increase the number of Bumiputera entrepreneurs in pharmacy retail.
  • To increase entrepreneurs’ income by 10%.
