NILAI, 20 January 2026 – Majlis Amanah Rakyat MARA today marked a significant milestone in strengthening industry driven Technical and Vocational Education and Training through the officiating of the Universiti Kuala Lumpur FASSI Teaching Factory by YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, at FASSI Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd. The initiative reflects MARA commitment to deliver practical and outcome based talent development aligned with national workforce priorities and the TVET at KKDW agenda.

The Teaching Factory operates within a real industrial environment, enabling students to undergo training using actual machinery, standard operating procedures and production processes. Through this approach, MARA reinforces its role as a leading human capital development agency by ensuring graduates are industry ready, highly skilled and capable of meeting current and future industry demands, while directly addressing skills gaps and employability outcomes.

MARA views this collaboration as a strategic model of academia industry integration and a national benchmark for future partnerships. By strengthening collaboration with industry players and international partners, MARA continues to enhance the TVET ecosystem, support economic competitiveness and advance sustainable and inclusive talent development for the nation.
