INTRODUCTION
MAJLIS AMANAH RAKYAT (MARA) or PEOPLE TRUST COUNCIL through its Education Sponsorship Division (BPP) to provide educational loan facilities to all eligible Bumiputera for higher educational trainings and studies at Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor degree, Master degree, Doctorate PhD, Medical Specialists and Professional certifications levels at any local and international institutions. Offered courses are to accord with MARA advertisements with terms and conditions applied.

OBJECTIVES
To provide education financial facilities to eligible Bumiputera students at various educational level to study at national and international Higher Educational Institutes (IPT) providing with priorities to national specialists.
FUNCTIONS AND ROLES
- To provide MARA Educational Loan facilities.

- To conduct Students Development Programmes for MARA-sponsored students local and abroad
- To monitor and supervise students’ academic performance and welfare.

INTRODUCTION
The Higher Education Division (BPT) is responsible for planning, monitoring and supervising activities and programmes run by the MARA Educational Institutions (IPMA), which aims to develop human capital who are high-minded, skilled and knowledgeable with an orientation towards entrepreneurship. Kolej Profesional MARA (KPM) offers diploma and semi-professional programmes while Kolej MARA (KM) offers pre-university programmes for students to further their studies locally and abroad.

INTRODUCTION
BKT, the division which responsible for Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA (KKTM), MARA- Japan Industrial Institute (MJII) and Institut Kemahiran MARA (IKM), entrusted to provide high quality technical education and industry-readiness training system geared towards producing skilled and knowledgeable manpower that is responsive to local and global industry demands.

- To become an outstanding MARA TVET Higher Education Institution.
- To produce a holistic and wholesome TVET human capital based on R.I.S.E. (Religious, Innovative, Skills and Entrepreneurship).
- To be a highly competitive catalyst in technology revolution.
- To develop a sustainable and dynamic MARA TVET corporate governance.To become a recognized TVET education institution internationally
ROLES
- Education Section
- The education section is accountable in determining the academic policies, coordinating policies and curriculum content as well as controlling the quality of teaching and learning in all KKTMs, MJII and IKMs. This is to ensure the achievement of graduates is in line with MARA’s vision and mission. Roles and functions of the education section are as follows:
- To plan and design curriculum in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Profession, Technology, Competency, Industry and Technoprenuer in accordance to the required standards for industry needs and technology changes.
- To plan and develop policies pertaining to academic and implementation of all programmes’ classifications to fulfill the policies and needs of the country.
- To plan and manage the development of learning resources for certificate and diploma programmes in KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To review and develop policies pertaining to evaluation and assessment to achieve curriculum development’s aim.
- The education section is accountable in determining the academic policies, coordinating policies and curriculum content as well as controlling the quality of teaching and learning in all KKTMs, MJII and IKMs. This is to ensure the achievement of graduates is in line with MARA’s vision and mission. Roles and functions of the education section are as follows:
- Industrial and Institutional Relation Section
- To coordinate and implement strategic collaborations and student as well as KKTM/MJII/IKM alumni competency development with institutions, agencies and industries in tandem with BKT MARA Strategic Plan.
- To coordinate, implement industrial training, monitor and update industrial training manual for KKTM, MJII and IKM. These are to ensure the implementation of industrial training at the institutions runs smoothly and effectively.
- To implement technopreneur development programmes, cooperative and alumni among the KKTM, MJII and IKM graduates in order to prepare and to produce competitive, resilient, technology savvy and environmental up-to-date entrepreneurs and job creators.
- To plan innovation and skill competitions as well as commercialization to enable KKTM, MJII and IKM to participate in competitions and commercialization effectively in line with the current policies and directive.
- Research and Information Section
- To analyse project feasibility study or activities related to the latest issues and trends in TVET at national or international level as a benchmark for the sustainabilility of BKT-TVET programmes.
- To plan and monitor the implementation of BKT’s short and long term strategic plans. These are to ensure the quality and the efficiency of BKT delivery system are well practised.
- To identify new high-impact technologies to ensure the development of TVET BKT is line with the needs of the country.
- To provide advisory services and also to act as a consultant to agencies associated with MARA TVET. These services are to ensure its development is implemented accordingly to policies and procedures set by authorities.
- Project and Building Maintenance Section
- To plan, manage and supervise physical projects. These to ensure all construction of new centres will meet their 100% completion.
- To manage the maintenance of KKTM, MJII and IKM buildings. This is to ensure the buildings’ looks, safety and conduciveness for the students are well-retained.
- Equipment Procurement & Maintenance Section
- To plan procurements of equipment based on the needs of courses.
- To evaluate the needs of procurements for each approved budget based on the allocation obtained.
- To monitor machines and equipment in KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To plan machine and equipment maintenance based on the needs of courses.
- System Development Information & Media Section
- To implement procurement, supervision and maintenance of equipment and ICT softwares in KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To prepare detailed information related to all programmes/activities under BKT (KKTM, MJII and IKM) before it is to be circulated and broadcasted in MARA and to the public.
- To implement programmes and activities towards rebranding KKTM, MJII and IKM which cover all kinds of announcements to mass media in order to upgrade our image and the confidence of the public towards TVET.
- Management Section
- To manage financial affairs, allocation and operating budget for These are to ensure the distributions will be sufficient and spent prudently according to circulars passed by the authorities.
- To manage general administrative affairs to ensure that administrative in the division runs effectively according to regulations.
- To provide advisory services regarding finance and administration.
- To carry out procurements through direct purchases or tenders to ensure that division main activities operate smoothly.
- Student Affairs Unit
- To implement and ensure matters related to discipline in KKTM, MJII and IKM are run smoothly.
- To ensure that every student in KKTM, MJII and IKM is covered by insurance and insurance claims are paid to students as applicable.
- To evaluate every application for admission to KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To plan and implement healthy and positive cultural and campus lifestyle programmes in KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To plan and coordinate education pathway programmes for admission to KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- Human Resources Unit
- To estimate annual training budget to ensure that institutions receive sufficient allocation to implement training/competency programmes.
- To monitor and identify suitable competency trainings according to related fields locally and overseas for all staff in BKT, KKTM, MJII and IKM.
- To plan and implement career development programmes among lecturers and staff (BKT, KKTM, MJII and IKM) as needed in cooperation with BSM.
- Audit & Quality Section
- To monitor and coordinate the implementation of BKT, KKTM, MJII and IKM activity/programme audit to adhere to MARA’s policies and procedures.
- To plan the implementation of JKKP committee.
INTRODUCTION
BPM (MARA Secondary Education Division) aims to establish Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) as an education centre which cultivates excellence among students. A major emphasis is also placed on nurturing highly potential students in the fields of Science and Technology embedded with entrepreneurial values and traits.

- To monitor students’ performance and assessing student achievements based on analysis of the examination results.

- To ensure new students’ admission is effectively managed in accordance with the standards established.
- To plan and monitor student development programmes in improving students’ confidence, leadership, communication, creativity and innovative skills.
- To plan, monitor and implement Student Talent Development programmes across all MRSM.
- To encourage students’ participation in national and international competitions thus nurturing their confidence, leadership, communication, creativity and innovative skills.
