Objectives
- To provide financing facilities to assist potential Bumiputera SME entrepreneurs penetrate international markets
- This scheme is a collaboration between MARA and SME Corporation Malaysia
Terms and Conditions
Basic Terms
- Own a private limited (Sdn. Bhd.) company with 100% company equity
- Meet the SME definition as follows:
- Manufacturing sector
- Annual sales of less than RM50 million OR less than 200 full-time employees
- Services Sector and others
- Annual sales of less than RM20 million OR less than 75 full-time employees
- Have been operating the business for at least three (3) years
- Operate in a valid business premise
- Obtain a SCORE rating of 3-star and above
- Obtain a required certificate / certification for export business transactions
- Products / services are made in Malaysia (at least 40% local content)
- Aged 21-60 years for all Board Members
- A satisfactory company credit status based on the CCRIS / RAM / CTOS reports
- Engaged in a syariah compliance business
Scope of Financing
- Revolving/working capital
- Purchase of machinery and equipment
- Installation & ICT Adoption
- Renovation of premises / factories
- Overseas promotion and advertising
Financing Limit
RM2,500,000.00
Financing Period
10 years @ 120 months
Guarantee / Collateral
- Guarantee
One or more guarantors with a monthly fixed income of not less than 3% of the total financing applied
Or
- Collateral
Land collateral with Forced Sale Value of at least 10% of the financing applied
Or
- Fixed Deposits
Islamic fixed deposit (General Investment Account) based on 10% of the financing value
Or
- Combination of all three
- Financing to private limited (Sdn. Bhd.) companies requires guarantee/ assurance of all the Board Members
Profit Rate
2% (fixed rate)
