STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Student Development Programme aims to produce  MRSM students who develop holistically through the implementation of Character Development Programme based on MRSM Core Values i.e Scientific, Independent, Creative, Trustworthy and Patriotic. The programme aims to produce students who are multi-talented and dynamic. Among the programmes held are;

Student Self-Development Programme

  • Self-Adaptation Course.
  • Communication Skills Course.
  • Ethics Course.
  • Career Development Course.
  • Islamic Practices Course.
  • Mini Ulul Albab Programme (tailored specially for non Ulul-Albab MRSM).

Homeroom Development Programme

  • The implementation of the Homeroom Module to all students.
  • MRSM Se-Malaysia Homeroom Convention.
  • Homeroom Awards Ceremony.

Student Leadership Programme

  • Election of Student Representative Council, Student Discipline Board and Peer Guidance Group.
  • Student Leadership Programme organised by MARA Student Ledership Centre (PUSKEP).
  • MRSM Leadership Convention.

Health Development Programme

  • Prevention Programme organized by Ministry of Health.
  • Student immunization programme.
  • Dental Care.

Welfare

  • The provision of financial assistance to low income group students (Exemption of school fees and contribution of pocket money).
  • Education Financial Assistance (BUDI).
  • Compensation for accidents and deaths.

Accommodation and Dining

  • Every MRSM is a full-board college.
  • The dining halls provide five meals a day based on the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Parents’ Association (MUAFAKAT)

  • Muafakat provides support to the MRSM education system by proposing improvements, financial assistance, subject matter expertise and others.
  • Active involvement in the Student Development Programme.
  • All MUAFAKAT activities are monitored by the National MUAFAKAT.

MRSM Alumni (ANSARA)

  • ANSARA provides support for MRSM system through networking with former students, sharing of professional expertise, financial contribution and alumni
  • ANSARA activities at the MRSM level are coordinated by ANSARA Kebangsaan.
